The Spirit of Whoredoms

This spirit comes in when we commit idolatry. Yes, us. We may call ourselves Christians but we still sin and commit idolatry. The Israelites knew the Lord and sinned by idolatry (so many examples but one: 2 Chronicles 25:18). They are a shadow of us. We are doing the same thing. You may think you don’t bow down to an idol, but can you live without your boyfriend? Mmm. Can you give up your Bentley? Mmm. Can you let go your dream to get that PhD, you’ve wished for since you were 9 in the jungle of Bangladesh and you’re almost finished and have already spent so much money on it. But God has said pull out. Mmm! Perhaps a big ‘No’ for that last one.

You will need, in order to get rid of this demon of whoredoms, to confess areas where you have put people or things ahead of God. Note the disciple in Matthew 9:21-22. Or the rich ruler who wanted to know what else he could do for God, Matthew 19:20-24. Under the power of the Holy Spirit test yourself and think what is it that you could no way give up. Count that an idol. God will help you know. The Holy Spirit is happy to teach you and show you all truth, so He is ready and able and standing by, hoping you give Him a chance to help you get free.

So confess that you have put anything or anyone before God. Repent. Don’t do it anymore. Praise God for the power of Jesus blood washing you clean. Now you are on the side of right and can tell the whoredom demon that came in because of this idolatry. Tell the demon to get out and go where Jesus tells it to go.
Check to make sure it has gone by calling it to attention. If you still feel it’s around, bind up, rebuke, cast out again. Receive your freedom and rejoice.

The Lying Spirit

Hypocrisy and deception invite the lying spirit in. This demon causes you to live in fantasy. Now, without judging anybody, can you see how we and the world around us are trapped by this demon? Talk about living in fantasy. That seems to be America’s new mainstay instead of capitalism. We should confess hypocrisy and deception and repent of it.

Hypocrisy – tricky if you don’t know you’re being a hypocrite. Being deceptive runs so deep, we will need help from the Spirit of God to identify this problem. Here’s a big lie identified in the word of God – he who says he has no sin, deceives himself and the truth is not in him (1 John 1:8). So before you say you don’t deceive, wait and hear what the Father has to say to you about that.

Confess your sins of hypocrisy and deception. Now you can call the lying spirit to attention. Here’s one where I feel I should first bind the strongman spirit. Of course you can do that with any of the demons we’ve studied. Call that strongman spirit in charge of the lying spirit to attention. Remember that Lucifer is the father of lies and lies to us and thereby leads us to sin. The act is our choice, but he uses lies to lead us there.

“Strong man spirit of these lying spirits influencing me, I bind you in the Name of Jesus and by the Blood of the Lamb. I cast you out now, into the abyss. You and all your minions. Be cast out now. I am loosed from off of you and you are bound and cast out.”

Because you have repented and are under the Covenant and law of God which means you can bind things on Earth and since you have dominion through Jesus Christ, you have the authority. Know that they are gone. Of course, you can check again and call them to attention. If any are identified in your space, repeat your commands.

Remember to praise the Lord God who has put you in position. Worship Him that you are called to be a soldier of the Cross, that you get to fight on the side of the Kingdom of heaven.

The Haughty Demon

We all know this one and it is a stumbling block, perhaps even one of the little foxes(Song of Solomon 2:15). Our pride. It invites in the haughty demon. Confess it and if you’re having trouble because some of us have been so proud for so long that we’re like ‘Duh?’ ask God to help you see it. He will, for this is truly a problem. Repent of it and ask God for forgiveness. Call the demon to attention.

“Haughty spirit, I call you to attention in Jesus Name.” When you identify it;

“I bind you in the Name of Jesus and I cast you out into the abyss, now.”

Praise the Lord for release. Receive His forgiveness and forgive yourself.

NB: Areas of pride you may not think of – not wanting to take help from anyone, but always giving help; not wanting anyone to see you doing good, lest they criticize some part of it; calling your way of cooking rice, the only way (O.K. I got a little personal:( ,you catch the drift……………………………….)

Spirit of Witchcraft

The Spirit of witchcraft comes in if we try to control others. Also, if we are involved in witchcraft, the occult, ouija boards, horoscopes (yep, horoscopes! They are not fun, but a way to let this demon in), tea leaves reading, séances, palm reading– anything you can think of in this regard. Blatant use of witchcraft is in Wicca & Yoruba religionists out of West Africa (a great pull for African Americans because they are so pro-black), Voodoo, prevalent in Haiti and Benin and so on. Some of us look only at this kind of witchcraft and not in the subtle areas of trying to manipulate others. But if you think about it, it is similar, because the witchcraft practitioner is trying to manipulate events for you and control them – make someone fall in love with you, punish someone who has done you wrong.

Now, confess and repent of your desires and efforts to control others through your attitudes and behavior; repent of involvement in the occult. Receive the forgiveness offered you by the Father, forgive yourself and anyone else that you feel may have led you into witchcraft in ALL its forms. Call the demon of witchcraft to attention, now that you are back under the will of God, he has no right to you; rebuke, bind and cast him out. Here’s the drill:

“Demon of witchcraft, I call you to attention. I bind you in the Name of Jesus, you have no rights here and no power over me. I know better now, your time is up in my life! I cast you out into the abyss now. Get! I call myself loosed from this evil force now, in Jesus Name.”

Now, worship the Lord God for His goodness to you and your release from the clutches of this awful spirit. Thank Him for revealing this truth to you and ask blessing and healing on people you have been trying to control all your life and speak freedom and release into their lives.

Spirit of Jealousy

This bugger gets in when we do what is so easy and common for us to do – resent someone, something, some situation, some government or institution. We have to repent for feeling resentment. There are so many areas where this can enter in so repent of all areas and ask the Lord to forgive you and release you. Then forgive yourself and receive the forgiveness of the Lord.

A word of caution; it doesn’t matter if you feel the resentment is justified – this resentment is welcoming the spirit of jealousy. This is when you have to take a “big boy pill” or a “big girl pill” in the Lord and drop the resentment and let it go. Drop it like a hot potato because it is burning you! Resentment eats away. Resentment weighs you down. Resentment is tiring and you can’t grow from strength to strength as you’re meant to. In other words it’s a show stopper.

Call that demon of jealousy to attention. Call the strongman spirit of the jealousy demon to attention first. Rebuke him in Jesus name, bind him and command him to leave by the Blood of the Lamb. By the law of God it has to go because you’ve repented and asked forgiveness of the Lord and therefore it’s already been bound in heaven. So by right you can get rid of that demon and step into your freedom. Bind up the retaliation spirits and demons that are being sent to try and hurt you because you dare know your rights in heavenly places and have dealt Hell a blow.

If you need to, and the Holy Spirit is right there to guide you into all truth, check and make sure the demon is gone by calling it to attention again. If need be bind those left and cast them out (cast out means command them to go – I just realized some of you might not know that churchy term “cast out”).

Spirit of Infirmity

This demon comes into us when we don’t forgive. Wow, this really ties in with the Spirit of the anti-Christ that we just dealt with. A lot of our not forgiving others comes from that rejection we’ve experienced from others and from rejecting others.
This is no time to not take responsibility. If you haven’t forgiven someone, now is the time to confess. For you to be delivered you have to be honest with yourself.
Confess all unforgiveness to the Lord and ask Him to forgive you. Then release and forgive all those who have hurt you or come against you in any way. I find that sometimes we think we’ve let things go, and then something comes up (like an adverse wind) and you realize you’re still holding on. Let Go!

Yes, the process of forgiveness can sometimes take awhile, but you’ve got to start somewhere. Call that spirit of infirmity to attention:

“Spirit of infirmity, I call you to attention.”

I actually am identifying him in my room, so I have a ways to go with forgiveness, if he found a way back in…

“Spirit of infirmity, I bind you in the Name of Jesus (I see him being bound up) and I cast you out now in the Name of Jesus. (he’s gone, fast, like a jet plane)

I’m checking, ‘Spirit of infirmity I call you to attention.” Nope, he got outta here.

Now, I praise the Lord. “Thank you Lord, for your mighty power. Thank you for these lessons learned. Thank you for praise, a weapon of warfare. Were not tired Lord. We know in You our weakness is Your strength. So thank You for helping me to identify this problem and get rid of it. I worship You and bless You because You are awesome. You are so awesome, Lord. There is none beside You, none like You. Holy Spirit, pour your strength into me and the oil of healing through all the cracks and crevices that that infirmity demon had damaged. Lift up my spirits Lord that I be aware that my help comes from the Lord. And I can rejoice.

Excuse me folks, I had to get personal there.

Anyway, you know the drill by now. Next time, another demon we can knock out and destroy. Daily doing this, plus, putting sin behind us and worshipping the Lord; the enemy’s kingdom is coming down in our lives and we will live more victoriously.

I must pause for a minute before I go on because something happened

Friends, I've just returned home after a week in a hospital bed and 2 weeks recovery in my mother's home. They said I had ulcers from the H. Pylori bacteria and I was admitted to the hospital in Virginia on Thursday, October 22, vomiting blood and having diarrhea which was all blood.

Praise God the bleeding stopped in a few days. What's interesting is that this came about as I finished typing one more post for the blog, the Lord God told me to write http://comprehensivedemonology.blogspot.com
The post was the dealing with the spirit of infirmity! I'm about to put it up. I was also trying to write an article about Rev. Enoch Adeboye, the leader of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Nigeria for Evangelist Akanimoh. Also, I was just putting the TV show I'm the host of, Africa's Vision Network, up on YouTube.

The Lord has called me to write. Now, I see it is true and I did hear My Lord because the devil is mad that I'm doing it but I'm not scared.

Continue to pray for me, because I'm going to keep doing the work of the Lord, until I die! And I will live, to praise the Name of the Lord!
